When I got my first camera nearly forty-five years ago,
it was meant as a sort of sketchbook, to record things
I saw that I didn't have opportunity to draw or paint.
When I took this picture, I wasn't thinking of the photograph,
but of a black ground with slashes of gray/white,
accented by flashes of red, yellow, blue and green.
I see it as an abstract painting, artist unknown.
Myself, perhaps?

Love that light, Speedway! Well spotted.
Thank you, Dive. I loved the light, too. It has a cast to it that can make the most mundane objects seem beautiful.
