At City Daily Photo, the first post of the New Year
is given over to the bloggers' best or favorite
photo of the previous year. None of mine stood out
in that regard, but a series of pictures I took
while walking along the White River Promenade
provided a series of pretty pictures of
the surrounding landscape.
As the weather becomes increasingly cold,
they remind me of the smells of the river,
and the warmth of the sun.

Interesting and colorful choices, happy new year from Spain!
I very much enjoyed your selection of almost abstract images SDP, excellent choice for the theme.
Good work. They are subtle - hard to tell what's front and back, plant and mineral. You can appreciate them just for form and color. Happy New Year!
'Tis quite gorgeous, Sara. I love the combo of sandstone, deadwood, lichen, and crushed rock. A haven for textures. Lovely composition.
I really like the colours in these shots, Sara!
Happy New Year
