Mauve-y Grace

In some places, these beautiful flowers inhabit
only a small patch of a neighbor's yard.
However, other people love them as much as I do;
the tall, slender stalks form an entire hedge row
in some places, the delicately colored blooms
mounting only the most spurious
of defenses against intruders.

Peek-A-Boo!
