So far this fall, our weather has been milder
than in recent years. That is such a blessing.
Last winter was prolonged and miserable,
with temperatures plummeting in early autumn
and not rising until late spring.
Even so, the trees know it's time for
their torpor; leaves are falling like rain.
These ginkos have created a golden carpet
at the entrance to the Massachusetts Avenue
shopping area, just off downtown Indy.

Lovely shots... the tower in the second shot really catches my eye!
That is the Murat Shrine: http://www.muratshrine.org/
But it was sold to a bank which changed the name to its own dispite much protest from the community. Now only the theater there is still called Murat.
The Murat Shriners continue to be active (they are affiliated with the Masons).
Thanks, William. What 22bb said ...
