One afternoon I took a shortcut through the Chase building
where the display window in a jewelry store
caught my eye. I loved the shiny, black beads against
the backlit, pebble- textured background.
Yes, I enjoyed the diamond earrings and pendants, but
they weren't nearly as interesting, or eye-catching.
