Little Hangy Down Seed Thingys with Raindrops

I don't know what this shrub is. It doesn't make pretty flowers,
but it makes attractively colored leaves in the fall,
while providing a privacy wall between yards and streets.
Its seeds are provided in these long things that
look like nascent pinecones.
Or sections of tiny rope.

Great post title, Speedway!
I love the upside down refracted landscape in those raindrops.

Thanks, Dive, but what else could it have been? I liked the inverted view of the neighborhood, too. I'm just sorry I couldn't make a sharper image of the drops. I'm trying to learn to use the macro feature on my little camera. However, it just does not want to focus on things I want a view of. It's a very stubborn little creature (must be male).

Very cool! I like the refraction in the drops, in your close up shot. Neato!
