I woke up early this morning to the sounds of thunder
overhead and rain splashing against my windows.
It was a welcome sound because we've been a bit short
of rainfall lately, but when I looked out the
front window, I saw that fall had sneaked in; the trees showed
yellow against the dark gray of the storm clouds.
