Hi, Scout. I don't know what kind of tree it is. I hadn't seen one since I was about 12, horseback riding with a friend. I'll have to go back when it blooms, for a leaf to verify it, I guess.
I love that song, too. I first heard it almost a year ago when Martin played banjo w/that group, the Steep Canyon Rangers on Austin City Limits.
And I just love the sound of steel drums , too. What is it about their tone that makes them so pleasant to hear?
