I look forward to seeing these little pink flowers.
Each spring their pale color works against the maroon
leaves. Here, they contrast with the fresh green leaves
of the neighboring hedge, while below the maroon leaves
pal up with the black limbs, allowing the pink flowers
to stand out. Everybody's happy.
