Pale Pink and Gray

I was struck by the delicacy of the pink flowers
contrasted with the rough gray of the tree.
And the lone bee harvesting the pollen
on the late summer day.

Wow, those are like little firework displays. What wonderful flowers; not showy, just gently spectacular in their own quiet way. They go so well with the whorl of knotwood on the tree trunk. As ever, your eye for detail is immaculate, Speedway.

You do have a great sense of color and textures... looks pretty creative to me!

Oh, thank you, Dive and Genie. I take pictures of anything that catches my eye. I'm beginning that the English have a gene for patterns because I see so much of it in their homes - textiles, ceramics, wall coverings, etc. - and that I got a tendency to use pattern to define space, shapes. Dunno. Just another effed up notion.
