Politically Incorrect

Beware of sheep wearing hoods.
The sheep were shorn of their wool before being
taken into the show ring and clothed in muslin outfits
to keep them from becoming soiled.
While no political intent was discerned,
the outfits may be the latest fashion;
I've been to shows in the past where the sheep
were clad in brightly-colored Spandex that
hugged their forms. Maybe they felt sheepish
about the body-revealing outfits
and demanded a change, but still sheepishly
following the latest trend.

Sharing the building with the sheep were various
breeds of goats. Almost as wary as their sheep cousins,
it was difficult to get one to be friendly - except for this guy,
who seemed perfectly willing to follow me home.
I liked his curious nature, wrinkled forehead,
and wiry coat.

Aaaaaawww … Don't you just want to hug them?
Sheep in spandex is an icky concept; like something from a New Zealand fetish club.

Yes, I do, and I did. I just love them and would love to raise them for their wool because I don't think I could bring myself to do it for mutton.

A lot of the sheep were clad in the muslin coverings. To me, they resembled Klansmen, sheep too afraid to stand up to bigots, hiding behind hoods when they committed their evil deeds.

I thought the Spandex clad sheep were odd, too, though there were none this year. Maybe it was a fad, but they looked like oddly shaped swimmers and gymnasts in their brightly colored and patterned leos.
