Winter Blue

The warmer seasons have faded away, leaving only traces
of their color and flair. The browns above have
hints of their complementary blues, saving them from
drab boredom. The wilted blooms below
look as though they've been out all night, only to
be caught off guard by the colder temperatures.
Can you say, "Rode hard and put away wet?"

That's pretty much how I feel this morning.

Ahhh, I wish I could help, Dive. I think we all felt like that at work ourselves. It has just been gray, dreary, and cold.

I've got a project I want to work on, but no one to share its development with. I've got my little book, and no one to share its "birth" with, either. While I suppose that makes them "all mine", it's difficult to not be able to show them to the person who introduced me to the topics, to show him what I'm doing with the gift he unknowingly bestowed on me,

What would Christmas be without loneliness and disappointment, Speedway?
Having said that, I can't wait for the new year and the promise of a copy of your book arriving here in England via the Amazonians.
