March Theme Day: Cafe Chairs

Anticipating spring, these cafe chairs sit outside
They will hear the happy conversation of visitors,
who will come to visit the beautiful art and grounds.
Meanwhile, they confer among themselves,
leaning in to better hear their buddies' metallic laughter.

These images have been posted as part of the
March Theme Day of City Daily Photo,
a portal for photography blogs from around the world,
whose participants make it possible for readers
to visit their cities and to see it from
their point of view. Click the above link to
begin your own journey.

Boy howdy! It may be March but your butt's gonna be pretty cold sitting on one of THOSE.

Maybe these chatty chairs are 'steeling' themselves before the onslaught of spring. Haha! enjoyed your wordage!

Sleek and with clean, clear lines...perfect for an art museum! Incidentally, PLEASE change word verification; it's maddening...I'm on my third try!

Yes, Dive, that's true. But if it froze my bum maybe enough would fall off I could be selective about which pieces, and how much to re-attach.

I do love the sleek lines of the chairs, and Ms. Perth, I hope their conversation is full of brilliantly forged bon mots, not the potty metal tripe I engage in.

Kate, I wish I could do without WV altogether. However, it seems to keep some of the more malicious people at bay, as well as the spam comments; those folks have to go to the trouble to ID themselves, so I can get rid of them.

Thank you, Jo and Tanya. I like that photo, too, I used it for a previous post a few weeks ago, here -

Thank you, Val, though I was one among many who contributed a lot of interesting photos of the cahirs in their area.
