Textured Tuesday: Creekview Redux

After last week's rains, I returned to the creek to see
whether there were any interesting changes in the landscape.
While there was nothing dramatic to record of the
surrounding trees and brush, the water level in the creek
had risen, resulting in liquid crystal flowing over
the jewel-colored leaves.

Oh, lordy, those are beautiful, Speedway. You should go into business selling desktop images for computers.

Thank you, Dive. I try. Sadly, I don't think these images, particularly the bottom one, would survive being enlarged. My camera isn't powerful enough to stop action very well; like a sniper, I try to click my shutter between heartbeats, hoping to catch my target and maybe get one that's usable.

However, I do have a project in mind - well, a couple really - one including these images and another about Sangernabo.

I can't wait.
And if you're this good with a pocket camera I shudder to think how amazing you are with a big digital SLR.
If only you lived locally you could borrow mine.
Darn it.

Thank you, Dive. Very much.

And if only you were here I could show you how humble the creek really is, take you to see all of Mr Sangernebo's work, explore macaron-Indy, check out the Speedway, visit the architecture in Columbus, go watch the towboats push their barges on the Ohio River... blah-blah-blah.

You're very sweet.
